scotch laminator + Pouches
These are perfect for laminating things at home. I've had this laminator since college and it still works GREAT! This bundle comes with both the laminator and the pouches.
Astrobrights paper
Save ink by printing in black and white and print on fun colored paper instead. :) I love to do this with parent handouts! This makes them standout in their take home folders. I also like to do this with a few of my teachers pay teachers activities that I laminate for the kiddos. It's just a fun way to mix things up and make them fun!
fun cut scissors
This is such a little thing, but I think it makes such a big difference in making student work feel special and activities look nice! My sweet paras will tell you, this is the one thing I'm specific about. ;) I LOVE the fun cut scissors!
the happy teacher planner
I am LOVING this planner! I used it last year and already picked up a new one for this year too. :) I love that it has a monthly and weekly spread with blank spots to write in & plan your day to fit your schedule. It also has fun little encouraging dividers with monthly goals, student birthdays, etc. It is MADE for teachers. I plan to do a whole post soon with a peek into my teacher planner, but in the meantime grab yourself one. :) Here's the one I chose for this year.
My favorite pens
These InkJoy gel pens are my absolute favorite! I treat myself to one fresh rainbow pack at the beginning of the school year. They write so smooth & everything is more fun with bright colored pens right? ;)
Iris Task Boxes
When I taught Special Ed my first year, these were PERFECT for making individual work boxes, rewards boxes, etc. Now I love to use them as mini sand trays for writing letters, keeping letter activities with manipulatives organized, storing little number cards with magnetic numbers, etc. Basically the ideas are ENDLESS with these fun boxes!
Mr. Sketch Markers
Making Anchor charts is so much more fun with delicious smelling markers! I also love to pull these out for writing assessments with my little ones. They are so much more motivated to write their name when they get to use the fun smelling markers. Words of advice... don't let them use them before school pictures...unless you want to scrub their little noses with wet wipes frantically before taking them down for pictures... #rookiemistake :)
Jumbo Glue Sticks
When prepping activities, these Jumbo glue sticks make it so much easier to glue construction paper or card stock! I keep a secret teacher stash of the jumbo size glue sticks specifically for this reason. :)
My favorite printer
I shared all about the printer we have and the printing program we LOVE in this blogpost but I thought I'd link our printer here too, so all my teacher faves were in one place. :)
the wild card book
I am currently reading two professional development books over the summer and am LOVING this one! It's all about creativity in the classroom and getting students excited about learning and it is GREAT! Highly recommend.
Happy Teachers Change the World Book
I'm also reading this book this summer! I haven't started it yet, but am super excited to dive in and see what it's all about.
More ideas coming soon
I'll be adding to this list as I come across more favorites, but I hope this was helpful for you teacher friends! I'd love to hear if you have any favorites or teacher must haves. :)
